Last night was the second and final round of ready-to-wear at Omaha Fashion Week. The tent was all a glow with fashion and frenzy as people toured the booths and pop up shops, sipped cocktails and chatted away. The nights showcase featured some great local designers as well as a few out-of-towners. We saw a lot of vintage, glamping at its finest, relaxed menswear and Pocahontas boho. Chris DiGiorgio, you might remember him as the Fall/Winter Student Night winner, ended the show by riding down the runway on hands free scooter Segway, but considering fashion is not far from theatrics I’d say it was the perfect ending to the night. DiGiorgio was also the winner of the show taking home the $500 prize and will go on to Saturday’s finale along with Terri Bruckner of Nue Vintage Apparel. Here is a quick recap in case you missed it.
Terri Bruckner for Nue Vintage Apparel:
Molly O’Brien for Molly Elizabeth-A sportswear collection inspired by the architecture in London.
Erica Cardena & Bryan Frost – Wallflower a floral interpretation of the great outdoors, complete with their signature vinyl touch from 2014-15.
Alyssa Koory-The 1960’s
